ABOUT JESS LOPER:

Signing on as the newest member of the Red Street staff, seasoned industry executive Jess Loper will assume the role of Vice President of A&R and Publishing for Red Street Christian. Her unmatched expertise as the former VP of Brand Management for Toby Mac’s Gotee Records and Publishing (Emack Music), seamlessly transitions her as the perfect candidate to manage the entirety of Red Street Records and Red Street Publishing’s Christian roster of writers, artists and music. After the heartbreaking loss of former department head Don Koch, Loper joins the staff to fill the shoes of a Christian music legend and industry great.

ABOUT RED STREET RECORDS:

In 2018, Jay DeMarcus announced the launch of a new Christian music label, RED STREET RECORDS. Its current roster includes Avalon Worship, Cade Thompson, Iveth Luna, Jason Crabb, and Lauren Camey. Earlier this year, DeMarcus announced an expansion as the label launched RED STREET COUNTRY. A division of the record label created by DeMarcus and Co-Owner/Chairman Dan Crockett, RED STREET COUNTRY solely focuses its efforts on artists within the realm of the genre of country music. As one-third of one of the most influential groups in modern country history, Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus is leading the new artistry-driven division and has enlisted a stellar roster of industry veterans and new team members to head up RED STREET COUNTRY. Their current roster includes Ryan Griffin and Neon Union. To learn more, visit redstreetrecords.com.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

You must be an NSAI Member to fully participate in pitch / feedback workshops.

Bring an MP3 version of your song that you can easily play from your phone, along with two lyric sheets for the song you chose. (Cassette tapes will not be accepted.)

*Members are more than welcome to attend and simply observe the event even if they do not want to submit a song for pitch!

We will play the first verse and first chorus of each song and the guest will "pass" or "take a copy".

Up to 50 members can participate and will be played in order of arrival - Members traveling greater than 75 miles or 2 hours from Davidson County will be given priority to participate.*

If you arrive earlier than 5:15pm, please join the line on our covered porch on the Roy Acuff side of building. Once doors open you will sign in and submit your lyrics sheets of the song you chose, to the receptionist for the event.

*ATTENTION OUT-OF-TOWN MEMBERS:

Members traveling greater than 75 miles or 2 hours from Davidson County are considered "out-of-town". You must be in the Priority Line prior to the time that doors open at 5:15pm. If you arrive after 5:15pm, you will be asked to join the end of the "Nashville/Local Line". At that point, there is no guarantee that you will be able to participate.
