Coordinator: Anita Lin
Bio: The evolution of Anita Lin's musical life dates back to her experiences in high school as part of a garage band and performer in the annual talent show. Throughout the 90's, Lin honed her craft as a songwriter and began performing her music at local venues in 1997. At the same time she began making visits to Nashville to learn more about the craft. Prompted by her fans, Lin recorded her debut CD entitled "This Book Knows", which was released in 1999. Lin moved to Nashville in 2001 for a year of intense study in the music business as well as the craft of songwriting, and the intimate workings of Music Row. She also began cowriting and performing in writer's rounds as well as the Sunday Songwriter's Showcase at the Bluebird Cafe. At present she resides in the Chicagoland area where she continues to perform and to participate in local songwriting events. She makes several trips each year to Nashville pursuing a single song contract. Lin's sophomore release is due out winter of 2005.

Coordinator: Bob Osgood
Bio: A guitar player since high school, Bob was inspired to write songs about 20 years ago after hearing the music of Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark, Lyle Lovett and other West Texas songwriters. With the encouragement of several friends, he began performing his songs at area open mics and his songwriting hobby soon became a habit. Although he has written several “serious” songs, Bob is best known for his humorous songs on subjects ranging from love to aging to pet peeves. He has also written for several community musical theater productions in the Chicago area. He credits NSAI as being instrumental in the development of his songwriting skills and enjoys sharing the lessons he’s learned with others.
