ABOUT BRIAN WHITE:

Spend 5 minutes with Brian White and you’ll quickly figure out, he’s a passionate man. Whether it’s about his home town Cincinnati Reds baseball team, his wife, his music, or his relationship with God, there’s no denying he’s all in.  A veteran of the music industry, Brian has had the success that’s rewarded by such passion.  As a touring artist signed with a major record deal, he fronted the Christian rock band “Brian White & Justice” for 15 years, recording 5 projects.  As a writer his songs have earned him Sixteen #1 songs, 2 Dove Awards for Song of The Year (Michael English -”Holding Out Hope To You” & The Martins- “The Promise”), SESAC Country Song of The Year & Billboard’s Most Played Song of The Year (Rodney Atkins- “Watching You”) &  recent #1 “Blame It On You” ( Jason Aldean ) as well as ACM and CMA nominations. Recently "Watching You" was listed at #37 in Billboard Magazines "100 Greatest Country Songs Of All Time" and also topped the chart as "The Most Played Country Song of The Decade". 

With over 400 cuts to his credit, his songs have been recorded by such Christian artists as We Are Messengers , Consumed By Fire , Ben Fuller, Danny Gokey , Kutless, 7eventh Time Down,  Avalon, Point of Grace , Mandisa, 4 Him, Larnelle Harris, Karyn Williams, Selah, All Star United, 33 Miles, Pure NRG, Jaci Velasquez, Cliff Richard, and many more. Brian has also experienced success in the Country and Pop market with his songs being recorded by such artist as Rascal Flatts , Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean,  Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins, The Swon Brothers, Steve Holy, Earl Scruggs, Terri Clark, Kix Brooks, Blackhawk, Canadian Country stars Chad Brownlee, Tim Hicks, Brett Kissel, The Lovelocks, Livy Jeanne, NewLaw as well as Australian artist Jayne Denham , Missy Lancaster , Travis Collins and Russian Pop Star Avraam Russo..

Brian is a frequent speaker / worship leader for conferences around the country as well as a featured clinician at songwriting seminars.  When he's off the road, he can be found playing a Songwriter Round, or in the studio behind the console producing records. 

Brian makes his home in Nashville, TN with award winning Christian Recording Artist Karyn Williams. and writes for Red Street Publishing.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: 

You must be an NSAI Member to fully participate in pitch / feedback workshops.

Bring an MP3 version of your song that you can easily play from your phone, along with two lyric sheets for the song you chose. (Cassette tapes will not be accepted.)

*Members are more than welcome to attend and simply observe the event even if they do not want to submit a song for feedback!

We will play the first verse and first chorus of each song and the guest will provide comments/suggestions/feedback.

Up to 30 members can participate and will be played in order of arrival - Members traveling greater than 75 miles or 2 hours from Davidson County will be given priority to participate.*

If you arrive earlier than 5:15pm, please join the line on our covered porch on the Roy Acuff side of building. Once doors open you will sign in and submit your lyrics sheets of the song you chose, to the receptionist for the event.

Song submission must be the original work of the Songwriter without use of any artificial intelligence, and must not infringe upon the copyrights, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity, or be otherwise contrary to applicable laws and regulations.

*ATTENTION OUT-OF-TOWN MEMBERS:

Members traveling greater than 75 miles or 2 hours from Davidson County are considered "out-of-town". You must be in the Priority Line prior to the time that doors open at 5:15pm. If you arrive after 5:15pm, you will be asked to join the end of the "Nashville/Local Line". At that point, there is no guarantee that you will be able to participate.

*NSAI does not require you to wear a mask, but we encourage you to do what feels most comfortable.

GUEST ATTENDEES:

NSAI non-members are permitted to observe two workshops prior to joining to experience what NSAI is about. If you have attended more than two workshops as a non-member, you will be asked to join NSAI as a member to fully benefit from membership and attend future events. 

PARKING:

Limited parking will be available in the NSAI parking lot. 

Additional parking is available on the street and in neighboring paid lots.
