After college, she used what she'd learned in her internship and began working as a freelance designer to pay for her recording sessions. As her music career began to develop she also developed her visual branding, designing her own website, merchandise, and album artwork. She has years of experience in crafting a visual brand to match a musical style, and has designed for musicians and bands spanning all styles and genres. www.winkwinkpaperco.com Holley will be discussing the process of building your brand and designing/manufacturing merchandise as an unsigned artist. She'll start with learning how to describe your music and translate that into visual terms, understanding the difference between what you like personally and how your music should be visually represented, choosing a graphic designer and relaying your thoughts and ideas to them, how much you can expect to spend on various design and printing projects, and other things that will help you navigate the process of visually representing your music accurately and attractively.
