Hello all you fabulous songwriters! Just a friendly reminder that our monthly meeting is next Wednesday, May 15, at 6 pm, and is all about Chapter Challenge 2024. We will be meeting in the Idaho Room at the Caldwell Public Library, 101 Dearborn St., Caldwell.
I encourage all members to submit a song — it might just be the hidden gem of the Chapter and the NSAI Challenge! Because we have a relatively small chapter your chances of having the winning song are pretty good, and as the winner you have another great chance when up against the other 106-ish chapters winners. Where else can you have such great odds? The prize packages for the Top Finalist and the Top 20 Chapter Challenge Finalists are pretty cool.
Here are a few IMPORTANT rules:
You must be a current (unexpired) NSAI member and be present at the Chapter Challenge meeting (you must also be affiliated with that Chapter) to participate in the challenge and to VOTE. You can still vote in person even if you don’t submit a song.
Each member can only submit ONE song. Send in your best! (It does not have to be a full demo; work tapes with guitar or Piano/vocals are fine)
Songs cannot be co-written with a Professional Songwriter or be under or pending contract or with AI (Artificial Intelligence).
