4th ANNUAL NASHVILLE SONGWRITER AWARDS WINNERS ANNOUNCED

2021 NSAI ‘Song of the Year’ Honor For “Bluebird”

 

Nashville, Tennessee (September 14, 2021) – The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), along with presenting partner City National Bank, honored the winners of the 4th annual Nashville Songwriter Awards virtually through an online presentation Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

 

The online event celebrated dozens of writers as they shared stories behind the honored ’10 Songs I Wish I’d Written’ and ‘Song of the Year,’ “Bluebird” – written by Luke Dick, Natalie, Hemby and Miranda Lambert. The Nashville Songwriter Awards are revered as the some of the most coveted in the industry, as the ’10 Song I Wish I’d Written’ and ‘Song of the Year’ are solely determined by the recipients’ peers, and the Songwriter and Songwriter-Artist of the Year awards are given to the Nashville-based Songwriter and Songwriter-Artist that had the highest chart activity during the eligible period. ‘TEN SONGS I WISH I’D WRITTEN’ AWARDS

Each year, the highly-coveted Ten Songs I Wish I’d Written Awards are voted on by Professional Songwriter Members of NSAI honoring the work of their songwriter peers. Songs eligible for the award have at least one Nashville-based writer and charted in the Top 20 of Billboard Airplay chart in the Christian, Country, Mainstream Top 40, and/or Rock genres during the eligible period. The NSAI Song Of The Year is the highest vote-getter.
