Meetings consist of reviewing a lesson on the craft of songwriting or a music business related subject. We then host a feedback session where participants share a song with the group. Members should bring a song to share and lyric sheets for the group.  Next meeting is November 24 on Zoom.

NSAI HOSTS MASSIVE CELEBRATION IN HONOR OF #1 SONGWRITERS - WORLD'S LARGEST #1 PARTY

This morning, Nashville's midtown neighborhood was bustling as the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) held a celebration for Nashville-associated songs and their writers who topped the Billboard Airplay, Digital, Hot or Mediabase charts during the past 18-month period.

Welcome to the NSAI Certification Program! We invite you to explore our series of quizzes based on the music industry and songwriting. This program is a resource to build a foundational understanding on common practices and terminology within the profession of songwriting. This includes information about royalties and the distribution of royalties, licensing, performing rights societies, and publishing and record label deals. Complete each quiz with a 90% or higher to be awarded a certificate of achievement and be deemed NSAI certified!
