With a 25 year career in the music industry, Carole-Ann Mobley has an extensive background in major label A&R, management, and record production. After graduating from the University of Texas she moved to Nashville and began working for legendary Muscle Shoals producer, Barry Beckett. During her time with Becket Productions she found songs and did production assistance on multi-platinum artists such as: Hank Williams Jr, Lorrie Morgan, Etta James, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Tammy Wynette, Kenny Chesney, and many others. She was brought on to Starstruck Entertainment owned by Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock to oversee A&R for the entire management roster as well as Reba’s solo records. After Starstruck she joined BMG Nashville which included the labels RCA, BNA, Columbia and Arista Nashville. As Senior Director of A&R she continued to work with Chesney as well as: Alabama, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, Chris Young, Jake Owen among others. Also she was instrumental in A&R for projects like NBC’s “Nashville Star”, “American Idol” winners, and various compilations and soundtracks. While there she signed Rachel Proctor, Jamey Johnson, and Brett James to record deals. Most recently at Warner Music Group as VP of A&R, she signed CMA/ACM nominated artists Brett Eldredge and Frankie Ballard as well as working with Blake Shelton, Michelle Branch, Faith Hill and John Rich among others. Currently she owns CAM Creative Services and offers customized A&R, publishing, writer management, and artist development services.
