ABOUT Preston Berger:
Preston Berger is a Lawrenceville, GA native. Berger went on to attend UGA, focusing on advertising and marketing, yet music continued to manifest in his life. While attending UGA, he started a non-profit called Breaking the Shackles to encourage donations and help to end human trafficking. Berger continues to serve on the board.
After his 2018 graduation, Berger moved to Nashville, met CAA’s Jeff Gregg, and ultimately spent almost two years working for the company. Coincidently, he also toured with The Band CAMINO – one of the very bands he once booked for his college charity events – as VIP Coordinator and Merch Rep.
“All of the people closest to me were pushing me toward publishing, post-COVID, so I started learning all that I could about it." said Berger.
Preston started at Black River Publishing in May 2022 and now works with Black River’s current roster and their incredible catalog of songs. He has cuts with acts like Bailey Zimmerman, Jon Pardi, and Kane Brown with many others in the pipeline.
