About Spoon
Known as the most easygoing guy on Music Row, Spoon is a passionate music enthusiast with more than two decades of experience in virtually every area of the business of music and new technology. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree from Middle Tennessee State University, Spoon started his professional journey working in music publishing with legendary producer, Byron Gallimore, as he developed then-unknown artists Tim McGraw and JoDee Messina. This experience served as the inspiration for Spoon to follow a similar path, developing artistic and songwriting talent. With this in mind, Spoon later accepted a position at Muy Bueno Music Publishing, which afforded him the privilege of working with artists such as George Strait and Lee Ann Womack.

With a rare facility for creative, technical and organizational aspects of music and marketing, Spoon has excelled as a major label A&R rep, song plugger, recording engineer, video editor -- not to mention being the right-hand man to some of the biggest producers in the music business, including James Stroud and Blake Chancey. During his tenure with Nashville’s biggest labels (Universal Music Group’s MCA & Mercury, DreamWorks, Capitol, and Sony Music), Spoon worked with top-shelf artists Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry, Little Big Town, among many others.

By drawing upon his experiences working alongside the best talent on Music Row, Spoon has rapidly developed a stable of great writing and artistic talent, an impressive song catalogwith Spoon's Tunes, and now a hip new artist development division, Runnin' Rebels Management.
