As a performing artist, Susan Ruth released two critically acclaimed albums, How To Say Goodbye and Surfacing to Breathe (the latter of which features many of Peter Gabriel’s key band mates) following her debut album, Horse of a Different Color EP (performing as Susan Robkin). Her fourth independent studio album, All I Ever Wanted Was Everything (as Susan Ruth) released April 2014.
Susan has penned songs in multiple genres; pop, country, rock, AAA and Euro dance, including: “Promise Me Love” – Reba McEntire (Love Somebody), Lonestar “Here We Go Again” and “I’ve Been Wrong Before” (Never Enders – April 2016). Other notables include: "What If" - Ali Isabella (#13 Eurodisc, #1 Belgium Eurodisc – Say You’ll Be Mine), "A Little Love This Christmas" – Ali Isabella (debuted #6 FMQB), “Shine” - Erdem Kinay – (#4 Turkey - PROJE), “Missing Miracles” - O’Shea (One+One debuted at #3 on the ARIA Country Charts and the top 30 on the all genre chart in 2013), “You’ve Got Everything” – Don Pedigo #15 Americana/Roots). Susan also has songs featured in the upcoming major motion picture, Life on the Line and independent film After Life, as well as songs for MTVs Road Rules and Real World. She is a staff writer for Deluge Music.
Susan Ruth is also an accomplished abstract painter whose work has been collected all over the world.
