Nashville, Tennessee (September 13, 2024) – The long-anticipated night of celebration dedicated to the profession of songwriting draws closer and the announcements keep coming for the upcoming 7th Annual Nashville Songwriter Awards presented by City National Bank. The Nashville Songwriters Association International is thrilled to reveal over a dozen additional performers set to join the previously announced appearances, adding HAILEY WHITTERS, DAN WILSON and CHRIS YOUNG as well as songwriters Rocky Block, John Byron, Benjy Davis, Jordan Dozzi, Ashley Gorley, Charlie Handsome, Kat Higgins, Greylan James, Ryan Larkins, Chase McGill, and Brett Tyler. With these announcements, September 24, 2024 at Ryman Auditorium is sure to be an unforgettable evening.

Today’s revealed performers join the large group of previously announced performers, including: Kurt Allison, Ryan Beaver, Mackenzie Carpenter, Ashley Cooke, Jamey Johnson, Jared Keim, Tully Kennedy, Kelley Lovelace, Randy Montana, Patrick Murphy, Austin Nivarel, Joe Ragosta, Rob Ragosta, Amanda Shires, Nate Smith, Neil Thrasher, Dave Turnbull, Josh Turner, and Lee Ann Womack.

Additional evening honorees include Alan Jackson (Kris Kristofferson Lifetime Achievement Award) and Buddy Cannon (NSAI President’s Keystone Award), as well as a song “honoree,” the ‘Legendary Song’ award, chosen by NSAI’s professional songwriting members, as the ‘Legendary Song’ of its time, with this year’s eligible criteria being songs from 1967-1983.

The 7th annual awards is presented for the 6th year in a row by City National Bank and has several incredible event partners supporting the evening of performances. Official partners include: Loeb & Loeb LLP, Renaissance Nashville Hotel, The Recording Industry Association of America, Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, Jack Daniel’s, Musicnotes, Recording Academy Songwriters & Composers Wing, SoundExchange, Tennessee Association of Broadcasters, and The Mechanical Licensing Collective.

Full list of awards to be presented include the ‘Songwriter’ and ‘Songwriter-Artist of the Year,’  the peer-voted ‘Song of the Year’ and ’10 Songs I Wish I’d Written’ awards, the ‘Legendary Song’ award, and the Kris Kristofferson Lifetime Achievement and NSAI President’s Keystone Awards.
