Our January meeting on the 7th will feature a live talk via Zoom with our Nashville mentor Emmy award winning pro writer Victoria Shaw direct from her home studio in Nashville. Please see her website below. She has written and performed with Garth Brooks and produced the first album for Lady Antebellum. A native New Yorker who years ago made the journey to Nashville, Victoria has played and written with some of the best musicians in Nashville as well as some great pop writers (Jim Brickman is a frequent collaborator.) Her regular writer's nights at NY City's famed jazz club Birdland are now a NY fixture. Come just to watch and listen or, better yet, ask Victoria questions about songwriting and the music industry!
Victoria won't be doing song feedback, but we will do them as a group afterwards as time permits. We look forward to seeing you then.
