Craig Monday moved to Nashville from Luttrell, Tennessee. Upon arriving he began performing at all the local songwriting clubs and meeting other writers in town. He signed a publishing deal with Windswept Pacific Publishing in 2002, where he wrote for 8 years. While writing for Windswept Pacific Craig had songs recorded by artist such as Kenny Cheney, Randy Houser, Vince Gill, Diamond Rio, Amy Grant, Jamey Johnson, The Blind Boys of Alabama, and Mark Wills among others. After leaving Windswept Pacific, Monday and a long time co-writer started their own publishing company where he is still currently writing.
