What made you fall in love with music?
I can’t pinpoint how or why I fell in love with music, it has just always been a presence in my life from day one. Whether it was being the youngest rehearsal groupie of my Dad’s rock band Destiny (gotta love the 80’s ☺), playing piano/organ and singing with my Grandmother, or creating and performing music with friends all throughout school, music has played such an important role in who I am today.

Best concert you have ever been to?

I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to see more shows than I can count so this is a hard one. Sara Bareilles and Kacey Musgraves at The Ryman, Florence and the Machine, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Beyonce, Charlie Daniels, Hank Williams Jr. – I could go on and on!

What music are you listening to?
Today’s tunes so far have included Billie Eilish, Sean McConnell, John Mayer, Fickle Friends, Maddie & Tae, Jillian Jacqueline, Keith Whitley, Cody Johnson, Wrabel ... I suppose I listen to country music the most, but my playlist varies daily.

What drew you to NSAI?

Working alongside people that love and value music as much as I do, and working for and with the songwriters who create that music. Without the writers, life’s moments would be so different. Music helps us celebrate, get through the tough times, and it speaks when we can’t find the words. I just can’t imagine life without it. NSAI’s goal is to not only make songwriting as a career sustainable but to help it return to a thriving career and I’m lucky to be able to contribute to that cause in any way possible.

Favorite Nashville Coffee Shop?

Frothy Monkey in the Nations is definitely my go-to spot now that the beloved JJ's Market is gone.
