JoJamie Hahr serves as Executive Vice President of BMG Nashville, where she oversees all day to day operations of the label, guiding all artist-project strategy, brand partnerships, strategic marketing as well as digital and creative efforts for each of the BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville's three imprints (Broken Bow Records, Stoney Creek Records, Wheelhouse Records), including ACM Artist of the Decade Jason Aldean, Country and TV Superstar and proud Opry Member Blake Shelton, GRAMMY award winning and both CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson, GRAMMY nominee Jelly Roll, as well as chart-toppers 10x #1 headliner Dustin Lynch, Warrant Officer in the Army Reserve and 2.5 billion streaming act Craig Morgan, the most-played group/band at country radio for the last decade Parmalee, 11x platinum Blanco Brown and more. Hahr began her career in radio in Florida before moving to Nashville to work in promotion at WSIX. This led to her job as Promotion Coordinator at MCA Records, where she was later promoted to Director of Secondary Promotion for the Universal Music Group imprints. Next, Hahr began working for Jon Loba when he hired her as Southeast Director of Radio Promotion for the BBR Music Group, helping break acts such as future superstar Jason Aldean. When Loba moved to Big Machine to help start The Valory Music Company, Hahr followed. A few years after Loba’s return to BBR Music Group, JoJamie returned as well to serve as BBR Management’s VP of Radio Promotion before transitioning to VP of Marketing for BBR Music Group. BMG acquired BBR Music Group in 2017, and, with over 20 years of industry experience, Hahr was promoted to EVP of the label group in January 2023.
Under her tenure, superstar Jason Aldean has achieved ACM Entertainer of the Year three times, has been named the ACM Artist of the Decade, and recently tallied his 28th No. 1. Broken Bow Records was named the Country Aircheck/Mediabase No. 1 airplay label for country music for 2022, and Dustin Lynch notched his then 8th #1 with “Thinking ‘Bout You” that stayed at the top of the charts for six-weeks - the longest running Top 10 in chart history - a record for both Lynch and the label. Not to mention, Lainey Wilson’s momentous rise to stardom continued, as she’s scored 4 #1 singles in a single year becoming the first female to ever achieve that accolade, breaking the record for the shortest time between #1 songs for a female, received the “Rulebreaker Award” at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards, won 16 awards in 2023 including the pinnacle CMA Entertainer of the Year and received two GRAMMY® nominations capturing her first GRAMMY for Best Country Album. Already reaching unfathomable success, she’s also guided the impressive career of genre-bending phenomenon Jelly Roll, who swept the 2023 & 2024 CMT Music Awards, broke the record of most weeks spent at #1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart with 25 weeks, scored numerous #1 singles on Rock and Country radio, and his debut Country album, Whitsitt Chapel, earned the biggest opening week for a first entry on the Top Country Albums charts since 2017. Jelly Roll would capture his first CMA Award for Best New Artist followed by two GRAMMY® nominations and his first ACM award for Music Event of the Year. His sophomore country album Beautifully Broken entered the Billboard 200 at #1.
