Brenna Geyer
Executive Assistant

Brenna Geyer is from Dayton, Ohio and attended the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She moved to Nashville in July of 2024 with hopes to work in the music industry. While working toward her degree, Brenna was an intern at NSAI, Smilestones DJ Services, and Song Suffragettes. As a fellow songwriter, she quickly found community and purpose working at NSAI and is so happy to be a part of such an incredible organization. In her free time, Brenna loves spending time with her family, cooking, trying new coffee shops around town, and cheering on the Bengals during football season. You may spot her running around music row as she trains for her second half marathon!

What made you fall in love with music?

I have been singing since before I can remember. My parents always tell the story of me at a young age telling them that they could not play the radio in the car because I wanted to sing for them instead. They knew then that I would be a performer and immediately signed me up for music lessons. Growing up, I wanted to be involved in everything music related. Aside from performing as a solo artist in my community, I participated in my school's concert band, choir, theatre, and wrote arrangements for an A Cappella group in High School. I decided to pursue the path towards a career in music by attending a music conservatory with plans to move to Nashville. Working alongside songwriters each day here at NSAI feels like a dream come true!

Who’s your favorite artist/band?

I have so many. A few of my forever favorites are James Taylor, Caitlyn Smith, John Mayer, Brett Eldredge, Phil Vassar, and Allen Stone.

What drew you to NSAI?

I was drawn to NSAI by the way that the organization welcomes the songwriting community with open arms. From Tuesday workshops to the resources provided for co-writing, there is no better place to start the Nashville songwriting journey as someone that may be new to town.
