An Ohio native, Jimmy has been a supporter of NSAI for years and has championed our work in the community. He has traveled to Washington, D.C., with the organization and played a number of shows. Jimmy has written 14 #1 songs, 8 of which have reached number 1 in country music. Some of his hits include “She’s Somebody’s Daughter” by Drew Baldridge, “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” by Kenny Chesney and David Lee Murphy, and “I Called Mama” by Tim McGraw. He also was a writer on the 2013 CMA and ACM Song of the Year, “I Drive Your Truck.” Jimmy actively travels the country talking to organizations about the art of storytelling, and its incredible ability to form valuable relationships in and out of business. Jimmy is married to Sonya Isaacs Yeary, of the award-winning gospel group, The Isaacs.
