NASHVILLE, TN (June 27, 2019) - Today, NSAI announced the results of the Anthem Chapter Challenge (formerly ole Majorly Indie).  Nitanee Paris, coordinator of the NSAI Malibu Chapter and Ryan Brisotti from NSAI New York City chapter were chosen by Anthem Entertainment to have meetings with the publishing company based on the songs they submitted for the Chapter Challenge.

Additionally, all of the 28 finalist’s songs will be sent by NSAI to all major Nashville music publishers.

“We are very proud of the songs chosen as 2019 finalists,” said NSAI Executive Director Bart Herbison. “So, we intend to offer additional resources and attention to the finalists including:

    •    Receive advice from the NSAI Member Representatives in a special online session
    •    Have a similar but separate online mentoring session with NSAI Executive Director Bart Herbison
and NSAI Board Member, hit songwriter Laura Veltz
    •    Creating a unique Facebook group for the 28 songwriters giving them an opportunity
to co-write and collaborate on business opportunities

The Chapter Challenge occurs every April throughout NSAI’s 100 Regional Chapters. Any member can bring one song to their local chapter meeting and members select the winning entry.  All NSAI Regional Chapter coordinators are also allowed to submit one song. NSAI narrows those songs down to a list of finalists before submitting them for consideration by the publishing partner.
