COURTNEY ALLEN- STARSTRUCK

Courtney Allen started her journey in the music business when she was a junior in college. While attending The University of South Carolina, she moved to Nashville for a 5 month internship at Song Garden Publishing where she worked with Brett Eldredge, Jaida Dreyer, James Slater, Kris Bergsnes and Ben Daniel. It was there that she discovered her love for songwriters and decided that she had to stay in Nashville. She continued to intern at Song Garden Publishing while she finished up her degree at MTSU. During that time, Song Garden Publishing became Red Vinyl Music and Main Star Management where she continued working with writers and assisted in day to day management of country artist Brett Eldredge. After she graduated, she worked in many different areas of the music industry but found that her true passion was to be working with the songwriting community. After a few years of working in radio, Courtney began working at NSAI. During her time there, she was able to mentor many aspiring writers and her passion to work back in publishing grew even more. In November, Courtney took the position of Creative Director at Starstruck Writers Group (owned by Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock) where she manages six fabulous writers.
