After a string of success that included several chart-topping songs, a Grammy, an ACM, and a SESAC Songwriter of the Year award, she started Liz Rose Music with her son, Scott Ponce. In 2013, the company signed a worldwide co-publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music.
