Katie Flynn moved from her hometown of Woodstock, GA to Nashville, Tennessee to attend Belmont University, where she earned her degree in Entertainment Industry Studies and Music Business. In 2015, Katie joined Universal Music Publishing Group where she worked as the Catalog Manager, Creative Assistant, and eventually as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President and General Manager, Kent Earls. During her four years at Universal Music Publishing, Katie worked her way up to pitching songs and working with songwriters.
In 2019, Katie accepted a position as Creative Director at Spirit Music Nashville where she is passionate about working with songwriters and pitching great songs.
