Grammy-nominated songwriter and West Palm Beach native, Jamie Floyd, has had songs recorded by Ronnie Dunn, Ashley Monroe, Miranda Lambert, Hayden Panettiere, Kellie Picker and Brian McKnight. Her critically acclaimed EP features "The Blade," named one of "The Best Songs of 2015" by Rolling Stone, Billboard Magazine and NPR.
Jamie is part of a new duo with John Martin, called Stranger Friends, and they just signed a record deal. Stranger Friends appeared in, wrote and recorded the soundtrack for the new major motion picture "Dog Years" (starring Burt Reynolds, Ariel Winter and Chevy Chase) coming to theaters early 2018. The film world premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. In addition, "Yet To Come" (cowritten by Jamie) that closes the final scene of "Dog Years" was awarded "Best Original Song In A Feature Film" by the 2017 Nashville Film Festival.
Jamie is also featured in the critically acclaimed music documentary THE LAST SONGWRITER alongside Garth Brooks, Jason Isbell, Allen Shamblin, Tony Arata, Tom Douglas and Emmylou Harris.
