RULES AND GUIDELINES

• SIGN IN: Everyone must sign in regardless of whether they are submitting a song for evaluation or not.

• SONG EVALUATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE: You must submit the following by NO LATER THAN 4:00 pm the day of the meeting (Sorry, but I’m going to have to strictly adhere to that deadline):

  • Song File (MP3 only please), and 

  • Lyric Sheet (PDF only please – also accurate and readable).

• RECORDINGS: The production quality of your demo doesn’t matter. Anything from work-tape to full production is fine. If you submit a work-tape, just make sure the words and melody are clear.

• LISTEN: Listen to others’ songs as you would have others listen to yours.  

• FEEDBACK: All feedback must be respectful and constructive. Use a scalpel – not a chainsaw. 

• FUN: Let’s have some.
