Ft. Worth, TX Chapter News

With the Coronavirus, everything seems to be changing by the minute. We look here at NSAI to protect our members the best way that we can. As you probably know, as of last week, NSAI has postponed the Tin Pan South Festival and Songwriting Seminar; this afternoon, I received an email from Executive Director Bart Herbison.

NSAI-Fort Worth will NOT have a meeting in December; our next meeting will be Monday, January 13, 2020, 7 - 9 PM at Dickey's BBQ, 5530 S. Cooper St. in Arlington.  Y'all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Due to schedule conflicts, our chapter meeting for October has been cancelled. We will meet again on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Dickey's.

However, the Dallas Chapter meeting should be of great interest to everyone, and I encourage you to attend!

Congratulations to our Chapter members:

Kayley Nell Walker for "This Guitar" - recommended for the NSAI February Publisher Luncheon

and

Jack Taylor, Kayley Nell Walker, and Layne Bruno for making the January "Ones to Watch List"!

Y'all keep writing great stuff!

Congratulations to Kayley Walker, as winner of our ole Chapter Challenge, with her song, "Autumn". Kayley was awarded an NSAI Tote Bag and "Hoodie" as our chapter winner!  Of course, we had to chase her to Nashville, in order to present her with her prizes!
